Rabideau pleads guilty to murder
Kathy Lynn Rabideau, 48, of Bagley, pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder in the July 2005 stabbing death of her domestic partner.
Rabideau entered her plea in Clearwater County District Court in front of District Judge Paul E. Rasmussen. She faces a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 11.
On the morning of July 22, 2005, Clearwater County Sheriff's deputies were called to do a welfare check on Susan Elizabeth Keezer, 47, at the residence she shared with Rabideau on the 100 block of Sunset Avenue in Bagley. At the scene, deputies found Keezer dead in the kitchen. She had been stabbed in the back by a filet-type knife.
A neighbor told investigators that she saw and heard Keezer and Rabideau arguing in the late evening hours of July 21 into the morning of July 22. She said that she later looked out her window into the Rabideau-Keezer residence and saw Rabideau raise something up and come down with it.
Rabideau remains in custody at the Clearwater County Jail.
